21 potential donors joined the Croatian Registry in Zagreb

Today, January 21st, we held this year’s first campaign to register in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry in cooperation with four Faculties of the University of Zagreb (Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geodesy, and the Faculty of Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering), where 21 potential donors joined us!

In December, one person received hope for life!

On the eve of the I Want Life concert held on Friday, December 27, we received a report from the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry that in December, one hematopoietic stem cell transplant was performed from an unrelated Croatian donor for a patient from Croatia.

Two words – I Want Life, last night again triggered an avalanche of kindness and thanks to your calls, more than 171,000 euros were collected! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Croatia has united again thanks to Ana, to give hope for life to those who need us most.

400 new samples tissue-typed!

Department of Transfusion Medicine and Transplantation Biology of the University Hospital Centre Zagreb has tissue-typed 400 new samples of potential donors. Currently, the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry has 65,391 typed donors.

Start of the humanitarian action I Want Life

The Ana Rukavina Foundation has launched the traditional humanitarian action I Want Life, which will last from December 1 to 31 and culminate on December 27 at the traditional Christmas concert I Want Life on Ban Josip Jelačić Square in Zagreb.
