Dear friends, this time we would like to thank the Triathlon Club Petrinja for their noble donation. On March 30th, they organized a Memorial Race in Petrinja and said a final goodbye to their friend Luka who left us way too early.
We offer sincere condolences to Luka’s family and friends for their irreparable loss.
About their beloved friend, they told us: “Luka was a great athlete, we honored him the way he would like the most, and that’s with running. 60 racers were running in honor of Luka, which was also a call to everyone to run for one thing, and that’s LIFE. “
In his honor, the Petrinja’s mound league held a round of league without an entry fee, and all those who attended were able to donate any amount they saw fit. 1500 HRK was collected, while the Triathlon Club Petrinja donated another 1000 HRK and paid the total amount into the account of Ana Rukavina Foundation.
Thanks to the Triathlon Club Petrinja and all the participants of the race for their nobility despite going through severe and difficult moments of losing a close person.
