The Presidency of HDZ decided that the money intended for their Christmas party would be donated to the Ana Rukavina Foundation.
We are truly grateful to the Presidency and members of the Croatian Democratic Party for supporting the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation and for donating 50,000 Kuna to expand the Registry of voluntary bone marrow and stem cell donors.
Owing to this type of noble initiative a new perspective has been provided regarding the treatment of those suffering from leukemia, lymphoma and other malignant hematological diseases since the national Registry today includes 9,702 tissue typed donators. There are 12,744,872 tissue typed donators listed in the World Registry, of which 8,889 are from Croatia.
