International Childhood Cancer Day

Dear friends, today marks International Childhood Cancer Day which aims to raise awareness of children suffering from malignant diseases and to express support to the children and adolescents and their families.

The goal of this day is to increase acceptance and deepen understanding of the problems and challenges faced by the sick children and those who have managed to beat one of these dangerous diseases.

How can you help? In addition to other ways, you can join the Registry of voluntary hematopoietic stem cell donors if you are in good health and between the ages of 18 and 40, and that way you can increase the chances of healing those who are suffering.

Also, soon-to-be parents can opt to donate stem cells from umbilical cord to Ana Rukavina Public Cord Blood Bank and help the needy, more about donating stem cells from umbilical cord: http://www.bankakrviizpupkovineanarukavina.hr/
