Dear friends, in this difficult and challenging situation, the Ana Rukavina Foundation continues its mission of saving lives. With a recent donation of a mobile ultrasound machine worth 331,650.00 kunas to the Infectious Diseases Clinic \u201cDr. Fran Mihaljevi\u0107 \u201d, upon the proposal of the director of the Foundation Mrs. Marija Rukavina and the consent of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, we decided to donate a respirator for 187,500.00 kunas to the same Clinic.
\nThe mobile ultrasound was delivered to the Clinic on March 30, 2020, and is already in use at the Institute of Infectious Diseases of the Children of the Infectious Diseases Clinic \u201cDr. Fran Mihaljevi\u0107”.
\nWith a sincere desire to help everyone who will need it, we look forward to the days when this situation will be behind us.
\nAlso, to help our dear Slavonia, who was always there for us, to preserve blood samples from potential donors of hematopoietic stem cells at the Clinical Institute for Transfusion Medicine at the University Hospital Centre Osijek, we donated a medical refrigerator for 38,120.94 kunas.
\nThe total donation value of the mobile ultrasound machine and respirator donated by the Ana Rukavina Foundation to the Infectious Diseases Clinic \u201cDr. Fran Mihaljevi\u0107 \u201dand a medical refrigerator at University Hospital Centre Osijek is 557,270.94 kunas.
