On Saturday, October 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Ana Rukavina Foundation, in cooperation with the City of Ivani\u0107-Grad, will hold the 500th jubilee event of registration in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry. The Ana Rukavina Foundation will hold an event in Ivani\u0107-Grad in the area of the City Administration (Park hrvatskih branitelja 1), on the occasion of the largest autumn event in Ivani\u0107-Grad, the jubilee 20th Bu\u010dijada, to help sick people in their search for a matching donor.
\nThe Ana Rukavina Foundation is endlessly grateful to all the co-organizers throughout Croatia who helped us expand the large family of potential donors to 66,743. Thanks to the efforts of the Ana Rukavina Foundation and noble donors from the Croatian Registry, 181 families were given hope for life, and the Foundation thanks all the donors who selflessly responded to the call from the Croatian Registry.
\n“The Cure is in Us” is the message of every registration action in the Croatian Registry. With it, the Foundation wants to remind citizens that we carry the cure that can save lives. Any healthy person between the ages of 18 and 40 can join this big family at the events of registration in the Croatian Registry organized by the Ana Rukavina Foundation. They can do so already in Ivani\u0107-Grad on October 5 or in one of the eight transfusion centers in the Republic of Croatia and become potential donors of hematopoietic stem cells.
