On Tuesday, April 8th, at the 4th High School “Marko Maruli\u0107” in Split, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esma \u010ce\u010duk Jeli\u010di\u0107 gave a lecture on the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation, how to become a donor of hematopoietic stem cells and the procedure of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
\nThe lecture was held at the initiative of Ms. Karolina Ivani\u0161evi\u0107 Vi\u0111ak, librarian of the 4th High School “Marko Maruli\u0107” and we would like to sincerely thank Ms. Ivani\u0161evi\u0107 Vi\u0111ak and all the educators who joined our actions “The Cure is in Us”, which aim to educate and motivate young people to register in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry to help those who are looking for a matching donor.
\nEducating young people in schools is the best way to spread awareness of the importance of helping and the knowledge that we all carry the cure within us that can one day save someone’s life.
