A charity concert will take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 7 PM in Vara\u017edin at the Erd\u00f6dy Palace Music School, Kapucinski Square 8\/I. The event will also include the release of the CD \u201cVara\u017edin My Dear\u201d by Vara\u017edin native, Ru\u017eica Juras and dedicated to Ana Rukavina.<\/p>\n
The Vara\u017edin Literary Society, the Matica Hrvatska – Vara\u017edin branch and the Music School of Vara\u017edin would like to invite you to this concert featuring the following musicians: Sofija Cingula, Dorotea Ili\u010di\u0107, Blanka Tkal\u010di\u0107 Breglec, Valentina Geci, Silvija Novak, Dragica Trstenjak, Ivanka Lakato\u0161, Iva Kruljac, Emilija Habulin, Marta Mesari\u0107 and Tihana Dru\u017eevi\u0107, as well as Professor Ivan Me\u017enari\u0107 as composer and soloist.
\nThe admission is free and the purchase of the CD will benefit the further work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation.<\/p>\n

\nRU\u017dICA JURAS was born on March 10, 1927 in Vara\u017edin. She was the co-founder and long time secretary of the August \u0160enoa Writer\u2019s Society in Zagreb. In 1994 she participated in the establishment of the Vara\u017edin Literary Society. She is the recipient of a number of recognitions and awards. Her poems have been set to music and have been performed at festivals in Vara\u017edin, Zagreb and elsewhere. She has published five books of poems until now, and her poetry has been translated into English and Slovenian.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
