The authors of the film \u201cI want life\u201d, which was about the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation, were awarded the best short film at the British Heart of England International Film Festival in Tamworth.<\/p>\n
\u201cA Matter of Taste\u201d, the first movie directed by Costa Ipsa, was filmed based on the script by Mirela Krneta. The leading roles in this short black comedy drama were played by Zvonko Novosel and Zvonko Ze\u010devi\u0107, while Boris Krstini\u0107 was the director of photography.
\nThe film was shot at the end of 2007 by the production house Third Vision, whose last film we had the opportunity to see on HTV in April of this year. We are referring to the documentary film \u201cI want life\u201d about the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation. This co-production between Third Vision and the Applaudo Group was done pro bono and any proceeds made from the broadcast were donated to the Foundation.<\/p>\n
In addition to being awarded for the best short film, \u201cA Matter of Taste\u201d was also nominated for the best film of the festival in competition with five full length films. At the Heart of England International Film Festival there were films presented from 31 countries around the world, and 150 films were nominated and competed for 25 awards. \u201cA Matter of Taste\u201d was the only film from this region shown at the festival.<\/p>\n
Since the very beginning of their careers, the authors of the film, Costa Ipsa and Mirela Krneta, have found inspiration in British film production so that this award, coming from \u201cthe heart of England\u201d, is more than an appropriate recognition for their cinematographic work.
\nThe American director, Andrew Silver, who presented his film, \u201cRadio Cape Cod\u201d, at the festival but did not compete, said, \u201cA Matter of Taste is a wonderful film with a great use of humor. I believe that it will soon be seen by the American public at the Coolidge Corner Theater in Boston.\u201d<\/p>\n
Third Vision is also working on a full length crime comedy called \u201cPlan B\u201d which they say will be \u201can hour and a half of laughs and action.\u201d Also involved in the production of \u201cPlan B\u201d is Michael Perkovi\u0107, the producer of one of the most expensive films in the region, \u201c\u010carlston za Ognjenku\u201d (Charleston And Vendetta).<\/p>\n
