The Sa\u0161a Vukas Charity Badminton Memorial will take place at 10 AM on April 21, 2012 at the Turbo Lima\u010d Center at Zagreb Fair. The family of the late Sa\u0161a Vukas has decided to donate all of the proceeds to the Ana Rukavina Foundation.<\/p>\n
SA\u0160A VUKAS CHARITY MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT:<\/p>\n
Why?
\n\u2022 in memory of Sa\u0161a, who actively contributed to the development of badminton in Croatia, and who passed away a year ago while undergoing treatment for leukemia
\n\u2022 in order to raise money for the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation and expand the Registry of voluntary hematopoietic stem cell donors
\n\u2022 to play badminton in good company and for a good cause
\nHow?
\n\u2022 tournament of co-ed teams: at least 4 men and 2 women
\n\u2022 one set is made up of 7 matches: 2 men\u2019s singles, 2 mixed doubles, 2 men\u2019s doubles and 1 women\u2019s doubles
\n\u2022 we will put together equally strong teams, on request
\n\u2022 the groups play a round-robin tournament for placement
