{"id":8472,"date":"2013-03-16T16:22:37","date_gmt":"2013-03-16T15:22:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.zaklada-ana-rukavina.hr\/57-zagrepcana-upisalo-se-u-registar\/"},"modified":"2017-12-05T13:07:19","modified_gmt":"2017-12-05T12:07:19","slug":"57-citizens-of-zagreb-join-the-registry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zaklada-ana-rukavina.hr\/en\/57-citizens-of-zagreb-join-the-registry\/","title":{"rendered":"57 Citizens of Zagreb Join the Registry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last Saturday in Zagreb, at the premises of the \u201cVi\u0161e od \u017divota\u201d Association, 57 citizens participated in the 205th action organized by the Ana Rukavina Foundation to join the Registry by donating blood for tissue typing and in that way increasing the chances of saving someone\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p>By joining the Registry, every citizen has become a potential bone marrow donor, and with this selfless act the people of Zagreb demonstrated their outstanding civic solidarity. Namely, bone marrow transplantation can treat patients suffering from acute and chronic forms of leukemia, as well as patients with severely damaged bone marrow, and the cure for this devastating disease lies within us!
