We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate our dear Mrs. Ankica Begi\u0107, a member of the Executive Board of the Ana Rukavina Foundation, on the promotion of her book \u201cComanche Indian \u2013 My Blood Brother\u201d which was held yesterday at the Foundation\u2019s premises. <\/p>\n

Mrs. Begi\u0107 suffered from myelofibrosis and she needed a bone marrow transplantation to treat it. A donor was found in the American Registry and Mrs. Begi\u0107\u2019s transplantation was successful. <\/p>\n

Today, two and a half years later, she describes her experiences with treatment and meeting her donor \u2013 an American Indian from the Comanche tribe. We hope that this book, which is a sort of diary about how she survived and coped with this difficult disease, will provide all patients with hope that they, too, will be healed.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
