Dear friends, 146 potential donors joined the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry at the action held on Thursday, February 6th at the University North in Varaždin.
The action was held in cooperation with the Department of Nursing of the University North, and on this occasion, we thank the Head of the Department, prof.dr.sc. Marijana Neuberg and student representative Ivana Salopek who initiated the action. We would also like to thank all the University staff who assisted with the sampling and with informing and motivating students to join this action so that one day they will have the opportunity to give someone hope for healing.
Before the action, we gave a lecture for students about the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation and what it means to be a potential donor of hematopoietic stem cells.
Thank you to all the wonderful young people for their unselfish response to the lecture and the action to join the Croatian Registry.
