52 new entries at the XVI Gymnasium and the 48th transplant from the Croatian Registry!

Dear friends, at the action held in Zagreb at the XVI Gymnasium on May 11th, a total of 52 new potential donors of hematopoietic stem cells joined the Croatian Registry.

A big thank you goes to young Laura Đurinec, a graduate of XVI Gymnasium who initiated this action, as well as all the young people, mostly third and fourth year students, who decided to join us and thereby help those who are suffering.

In addition, we are happy to share another piece of wonderful news with you, and that is that in April another transplant was carried out using hematopoietic stem cells from a non-related voluntary donor!

Stem cells from the Croatian Registry of voluntary hematopoietic stem cell donors were transplanted into a patient in Croatia. The number of voluntary donations of stem cells from non-related donors since the start of the operation of the Croatian Registry now totals 48.

We are truly grateful to all the donors whose generous acts have helped those who are suffering by giving them a new chance at life!
