On Wednesday, April 9, we held another extraordinary campaign to register in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry in cooperation with the Rijeka Medical High School, which was joined by 72 high school students, students of medicine, dentistry, and other health fields.
This was the third campaign in a row initiated by Prof. Nensi Araminčić from the Rijeka Medical High School and again with great success and response from young people.
The positive energy radiated by dear Prof. Araminčić made young people aware of the importance of helping those who are sick, whose profession is to help.
The exceptional organization and goodwill of Prof. Araminčić once again delighted us. We are glad that, along with the Split Health School, this campaign at the Rijeka Medical High School has become a tradition in which future medical professionals selflessly help those who need our help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Prof. Nensi Araminčić for starting all this, Dr. Alen Vukelić, Director of the Rijeka Medical High School for supporting this noble initiative, Dr. Zinaida Perić, Head of the Department of Hematology at the Clinical Hospital Center of Rijeka, Nina Jajaš, Head Nurse of the Department of Hematology at the Clinical Hospital Center of Rijeka, nurses Antonela and Andreja, Lara Dragić, President of the Student Union of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rijeka, for informing and motivating students, Prof. Marijan Matejčić for helping to organize the action and of course to all the wonderful young people who took the time to one day have the opportunity to save someone’s life.
