88 potential donors in Split!

On Wednesday, March 26, the fifth campaign to join the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry was held in cooperation with the Split Health School. As many as 88 young potential donors participated!
The joint campaign was initiated in 2018 by Dr. Katija Biškupović and Prof. Petra Ognjenović from the Split Health School with the support of the director, Ms. Sanja Perić. We are incredibly happy that such an action was launched “at the scene” where future young healthcare professionals are educated and thank everyone involved for the wonderful initiative and desire to educate young people about the importance of helping not only as a healthcare professional but also as a person to another person.
We also sincerely thank our dear Dr. Esma Čečuk Jeličić, who gave a lecture to students and school staff to introduce them to the process of registration in the Croatian Registry and the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation and held the campaign for registration in the Croatian Registry.
A heartfelt thank you to the nurses who took the samples and to all the young people who joined the Croatian Registry to one day help the sick people who are waiting for their chance at life.
