Dear friends, we received news from the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry that one hematopoietic stem cell transplants was performed in June for patient from Croatia.
Once again, we thank all the selfless donors who responded to the call of the Croatian Registry to give strangers a chance to live and the medical staff of University Hospital Centre Zagreb who conducts the procedure of taking and transplanting hematopoietic stem cells to allow patients to recover.
Thanks to the donors of hematopoietic stem cells from the Croatian Registry, 137 transplants have been performed so far, and patients from Croatia and abroad have been provided with the most valuable thing – an opportunity for life!
