The humanitarian action “Ana Rukavina’s Favorite Flower” raised almost one hundred thousand kunas

The jubilee, tenth in a row humanitarian action ” Ana Rukavina’s Favorite Flower” held on April 9, organized by the Social Democratic Women’s Forum of the SDP of Croatia, raised HRK 98,445.57.
This amount was collected thanks to the noble initiative and commitment of the Forum members and their president, Mrs. Tatjana Šimac Bonačić, and the selfless donations of all citizens of the Republic of Croatia who participated in the action and donated funds for Ana’s favorite flower – tulip.
The amount collected at this year’s humanitarian action of the SDP Women’s Forum was paid into the bank account of the Ana Rukavina Foundation.
The Social Democratic Women’s Forum of the SDP has collected almost 700 thousand kunas for the further work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation since 2011 when the humanitarian action ” Ana Rukavina’s Favorite Flower” was held for the first time.
The funds raised are a great incentive for the further work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation so that we can continue to help sick people who are waiting for their matching donor by organizing actions for registration in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry and professional training of young doctors in hematology.
Thanks to all our dear donors, the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry today has almost 62,000 members, and 149 donors from the Croatian Registry have donated the most valuable thing – the opportunity to live to the sick people!
