At the event held on Thursday, March 2 in Đurđevac in the area of the Đurđevac City Library, 13 new potential donors joined the Croatian Register of Voluntary Donors of Hematopoietic Stem Cells.
This action was held in cooperation with Ivana Fazlić and Mateja Sinković Janći, with the support of the City of Đurđevac, in order to raise the awareness of the citizens of Đurđevac about the importance of helping sick people in the search for matching donors.
Every action that the Foundation organizes throughout Croatia carries the message “The cure is in us!”. With this, the Foundation wants to remind citizens once again that we carry within us a medicine with which we can save the lives of patients with acute and chronic forms of leukemia and patients with severe bone marrow damage. The greater the number of people registered in the Croatian register, the greater the possibility of saving the lives of patients, and the first step is registration in the Croatian register.
