We were at the Medical School in Rijeka on May 19. 2023 and held an event where adult graduates and students of the fourth grade of the Nurse/Technician program registered in the Croatian register of potential donors of hematopoietic stem cells. 61 young donors joined the registry, which was to be expected from future healthcare professionals, that they would respond in large numbers. This is their contribution to life and hope for life for the sick. The action was organized and coordinated by the class leader mag.med.lab.diagn. Nancy Araminčić supported by the principal Alen Vukelić, the school’s pedagogue Ivana Obrazović and the teachers of the above classes. The plan is to make this action traditional and include other schools in it.
We are sincerely grateful for the excellent response and the big heart of the young students and teachers who decided to help in this way by joining the campaign to increase the chances of recovery for sick people.
