Dear friends, on Monday, May 11th, from 10 AM to 12 PM, an action to join the Registry of voluntary hematopoietic stem cell donors will be held at the XVI Gymnasium (Križanićeva 4a) in Zagreb.
We are organizing this action to join the Registry at the initiative of our dear graduate, Laura Đurinec, who also organized an action at the XVI Gymnasium to raise money for the Foundation last year in March.
At the action held in Zagreb yesterday, May 6th, a total of 16 new potential donors of hematopoietic stem cells joined the Croatian Registry. This action was held at the initiative and with the organizational help of the Croatian Academic Sailing Club Dobro More.
We are grateful to the Dobro More Sailing Club for inviting us to come and for helping to expand the Registry. The greater the number of names listed in the Registry, the greater the chances are of saving the lives of those suffering from acute and chronic forms of leukemia, as well as patients with severely damaged bone marrow.
