On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, this year the municipal branch of the Red Cross Hvar (GDCK) once again organized an action to help and support the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation.
We heard from Mrs. Maja Budrović, the head of the GDCK, that all the daycare centers on the island, as well as the primary and secondary schools and the after school program in Stari Grad regularly participate in this nice and humane action. They made hearts, flowers, drops of blood, cakes and other various crafts which symbolize the Foundation. This year they raised about 10 thousand kuna, which the GDCK Hvar deposited on the Foundation’s account.
We are truly grateful to the GDCK Hvar, Mrs. Budrović, Esma Čečuk-Jeličić, PhD, and all the children, parents and everyone who participated in this indeed praiseworthy and already traditional action for the Foundation by the GDCK Hvar.
