The sixth stem cell donation

For the sixth time, cells from the Croatian Registry of voluntary donors have found a transplant recipient, this time a patient from Croatia.

In the last year, stem cells have been found in the Croatian Registry for six patients; three in Croatia and three abroad.

Today our Registry is a fully fledged member of the World Registry of voluntary bone marrow donors. Until now, we have tissue typed more than 50% of all the listed donors, and we need to work hard to tissue type the rest of the listed donors.

We are happy that Ana Rukavina’s mission has achieved such noticeable results in helping those in direst need of that help.
Thank you to all of the donators who have responded to the call to save lives.
