36 new members of the Croatian Registry

Dear friends, in an action held on Monday, December 4th in Zagreb, in cooperation with the Student Association of the City of Split, 36 new potential donors joined the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry.

The action was organized with the help of the Association of Students of the City of Split, who in this way wanted to support the work of Ana Rukavina Foundation and increase the chance of healing for people who need transplantation of the hematopoietic stem cells.

Prior to the action itself, prof.dr.sc. Boris Labar, a renowned hematologist and member of the Ana Rukavina Foundation’s Board of Experts, gave a lecture to students about what it means to be a potential donor of bone marrow or hematopoietic stem cells and could hear everything about the stem cell transplant itself.

A big thank you to all the wonderful young people who have become part of the Croatian Registry.
