Action to join the Croatian Registry in Dugo Selo

On Thursday, November 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the premises of the Dugo Selo Red Cross City Society (Ulica 2. Gardijske Brigade “Gromovi” 3) in Dugo Selo, the Ana Rukavina Foundation will hold an action to join the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry.
The event in Dugo Selo will be held in cooperation with the Ana Rukavina Foundation and the Dugo Selo Red Cross City Society to jointly help sick people in Croatia and around the world in their search for a matching donor.
All healthy citizens aged 18 to 40 can register in the Croatian Registry. The registration process includes filling out an application form and a health questionnaire and providing a blood sample for HLA typing, which determines tissue compatibility antigens. Registration in the Croatian Registry is the first step to helping seriously ill people with acute and chronic forms of leukemia and patients with severe bone marrow damage around the world.
This action will be held with the financial support of Zagreb County, which awarded funds to the Ana Rukavina Foundation through a public tender for the project “The Cure is In Us” in the Zagreb County area.
