Last Saturday in Zagreb, at the premises of the “Više od Života” Association, 57 citizens participated in the 205th action organized by the Ana Rukavina Foundation to join the Registry by donating blood for tissue typing and in that way increasing the chances of saving someone’s life.

205th Action to Join the Registry in Zagreb
The 205th action in a row to join the Registry of voluntary hematopoietic stem cell donors will take place on Saturday, March 16th, from 12 PM to 2 PM at the premises of the “Više od Života” Association located at Baureova 2 in Zagreb. The action is being organized by the Adriatic Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The Ana Rukavina Foundation was established on February 14, 2007, on Valentine’s Day. Since the start of the work of the Foundation, 37,551 people have joined the Registry, while before the establishment of the Foundation the Registry numbered about 150 people, mostly patients’ family members.
