Today we celebrate something that no number can measure – the gift of life that our blood donors selflessly give. Every drop of their blood is a bridge of hope, strength and new opportunities for those whose lives are at risk.
In their hands lies the most valuable thing – patience, love and strength to give the last atom of themselves for the happiness of others. For a family that will hug their son again, for a child that will run again, for a friend who will make our days smile.
Today we thank everyone who opened their hearts and veins – thank you for being heroes that no one often sees.
In addition, we are especially proud to congratulate the Croatian Institute for Transfusion Medicine — 80 years of continuous work, expertise and dedication. Since 1945, the Institute has been a lifesaver for numerous patients, and its network, cooperation and innovations form the foundation of safe transfusion medicine in our country.
Thank you to the donors — all of you who are living proof that goodness flows through our veins.
