On Friday, September 13th, a total of 36 citizens joined the Registry at actions held in Korenica and Perušić; 13 in Korenica and 23 in Perušić.

World Lymphoma Awareness Day, September 15th
World Lymphoma Awareness Day is marked on September 15th and since there are no programs of early detection of this disease, the only way to detect lymphoma early is to educate and inform the public about lymphoma as a disease about which little is known.
>>Actions to join the Registry in Korenica and Perušić
Two actions to join the Registry of voluntary hematopoietic stem cell donors will be held on Friday, September 13th. The first action will take place in Korenica at the municipal branch of the Red Cross Plitvička Jezera from 10 AM to 12 PM.

After a short summer break we are continuing with the actions to join the Registry. The next action will be held on Friday, September 6th, at the Library and Youth Reading Room in Karlovac, Banjavčićeva 8, from 12 PM to 3 PM.

NVO Mala has organized the first action in our neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina to collect blood samples in order to form a Bone Marrow Registry. The action will take place today, August 14th from 5 PM to 10 PM in front of the Cathedral in Sarajevo

Tissue typing has been carried out on 1,500 new blood samples from potential donors of hematopoietic stem cells using the molecular method for HLA loci A, B and DRB1.
