Humanitarian Action by the School for Road Transport

The students at the School for Road Transport in Zagreb, at no. 8 J.F. Kennedy Square, who take an optional Psychological Workshop, organized an extracurricular activity in order to help the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation. This humanitarian action included the selling of the Foundation’s promotional materials and handing out informational leaflets about donating bone marrow and stem cells.

At this praiseworthy and valuable action the students raised 1,520 kuna which will be used toward HLA (Human leukocyte antigen) tissue typing of blood samples of potential donors.

We are extremely grateful to all the students and teachers at the School for Road Transport for taking the time to educate the young about the importance of donating bone marrow and stem cells, and the way in which it can save someone’s life.
