Today is International Nurses Day, and we would like to extend our sincere congratulations to all nurses and technicians.
We have never been more aware of the importance and need for nurses, and we sincerely thank them for everything they do for us. The challenges that medical staff face every day to provide patients with health care and safety make them true heroes, and we thank them for that.
This year, we will mark International Nurses Day with an action to register in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry at the University Hospital Centre Sestre Milosrdnice to help sick people in Croatia and the world. The action will be held today from 12 to 2 p.m. in cooperation with the Health Care Service of the University Hospital Centre Sestre Milosrdnice at the School of Midwifery (building no. 31).
Also, the KroMreža association of hematological nurses will have a stand at Ban Josip Jelačić Square in Zagreb today from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. where you can get answers related to health and prevention of hematological benign and malignant diseases. Once again, to all medical workers, nurses, and technicians, and especially the “little nurses”, as our Ana liked to call them, in all hematological departments in the Republic of Croatia, we sincerely congratulate them on their day and thank them for everything they do for all of us!
