Yesterday, May 6, 2025, at the Medvedgradska 55 Health School in Zagreb, we held a lecture on the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation.
We held the lecture in collaboration with Prof. Maja Gregorić, M.D. in laboratory diagnostics, advisor and professor of vocational subjects, who expressed her desire to educate high school graduates, future health workers, and linked school materials on leukemia and blood smears. Although some students are still too young to register in the Croatian Registry of Voluntary Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donors, it is important to educate them on how to help those who need our help.
We sincerely thank Maja Gregorić for the invitation and initiative for young people to learn something about the importance of philanthropy and remember the Ana Rukavina Foundation.
We thank all the students who listened to Ana and our story with interest, and we sincerely believe that one day they themselves will become potential donors who will increase the chances of recovery for sick people from Croatia and the world.
