On Wednesday, May 7, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., in the premises of the Ivan Švear Ivanić Grad High School (Školska 12) in Ivanić-Grad, the Ana Rukavina Foundation will hold a campaign to register in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry.

We received wonderful news from the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry – in April, hematopoietic stem cell transplants were performed for a patient from Croatia and a patient from abroad.

On Wednesday, April 23, we held another campaign to register in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Zagreb, which was joined by 21 potential donors.

On Wednesday, April 23rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Ana Rukavina Foundation will hold a registration campaign for the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, in the Seminar Halls, Gundulićeva 3.

Yesterday, on April 15, the Ana Rukavina Foundation held another action to join the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry, at the initiative and in cooperation with the Međimurje University of Applied Sciences in Čakovec, which was joined by 70 potential donors.

Good news for the beginning of the week comes from the Clinical Department for Transfusion Medicine and Transplantation Biology of the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, where 200 new samples of potential donors have been typed. Currently, the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry has 64,875 typed donors.

On Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Zagreb and at more than 50 locations throughout the Republic of Croatia, the SDP Women’s Forum of Croatia will organize the traditional 12th humanitarian action “Ana Rukavina’s Favorite Flower”.

On Tuesday, April 8th, at the 4th High School “Marko Marulić” in Split, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esma Čečuk Jeličić gave a lecture on the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation, how to become a donor of hematopoietic stem cells and the procedure of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
