152nd transplantation from the Croatian Registry and new donors in Sinj

We received wonderful news from the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry that two transplants from the Croatian Registry for patients from Croatia and abroad were issued in May.
Thank you all for joining the Croatian Registry, your membership increases the chance of sick people to find a matching donor, thank you to all organizers of actions and volunteers who help the number of potential donors to increase, as well as transfusion centers in eight cities in the Republic of Croatia, University Hospital Centre Zagreb, which carries out the procedure of taking hematopoietic stem cells in order to reach sick people and give them hope for life.
Also, on Friday, June 3, in Sinj in the Museum of the Cetina Region, the Ana Rukavina Foundation held an action of registration in the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry, which was joined by 9 potential donors.
The action in Sinj was held at the initiative of the president of the Association “Dinaridi trails”, Ivan Marušić, to help sick people waiting for their matching donor, and the Association organized races called Ultra Trail Dinarides in the nature park Dinara. The organizers decided that 10% of the income from the total collected entry fees for the Family race 10 km at 100 kunas and Initiation 20 km at 170 kunas will be donated to the Ana Rukavina Foundation.
