The beginning of the new year could not have started better! We received the good news that during December last year, one transplant of hematopoietic stem cells from an unrelated donor was performed for a patient in Croatia.
Thanks to the selfless donors of hematopoietic stem cells, the number of patients who were given a chance to recover has now risen to 161 since 2009, when the first transplant from the Croatian Registry of Voluntary Donors of Stem Cells was performed.
