In addition to the famous works of Korsakov’s, Tchaikovsky’s, and Rachmaninoff’s masterpiece, many visitors to the Concert for Life organized by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra on Friday, March 22, remembered Ana Rukavina and maestro Vjekoslav Šutej.
The tenth Concert for Life was performed by the world famous cellist Luka Šulić and maestro Dmitrij Kitajenko, with the support of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.
The concert was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and under the auspices of the City of Zagreb.
In a filled musical evening during which visitors could enjoy the magical sound of the flute accompanied by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and celebrate life, they also enjoyed the envoy of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Ph.D. Tomislav Madžar, the President of the Croatian Parliament, Mr. Ivan Ćelić, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Prof. Dr. Sc. Milan Kujundzic, Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Milan Bandić, as well as numerous other representatives of Croatia’s political and cultural life, and dear friends of the Foundation who have been instrumental in saving lives for more than twelve years since its foundation.
