Dear friends, On Tuesday, September 13th, from 3PM to 5 PM, in Bistra’s Cultural Center (Bistranska 98), an action to join the Croatian Bone Marrow Donor Registry will be held on the initiative from SDP’s Municipal Organization in Bistra.
We thank the organizers for the initiative and for calling us and would like to remind you that to enter the Registry, you have to be between 18 and 40 years old. The process includes filling the form and a health questionnaire, as well as giving a sample of your blood for HLA-typization that determines the antigens of tissue tolerance. Entering the Registry is the first step for helping people with acute and chronic forms of leukemia or a damaged bone marrow.
