Dear friends, our first action in April to join the Registry of voluntary hematopoietic stem cell donors will be held in Labin on April 9, 2015 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the restaurant of the Mate Blažina Secondary School Center.
We are organizing the action at the initiative of Martina Tireli, whose sister, Karla Tireli, is undergoing treatment for leukemia and now needs a bone marrow transplant.
Also participating in the organization of the action are the Tireli’s family friends, as well as the city’s institutions and non-governmental associations, the Labin Zdravi Grad, the municipal branch of the Red Cross Labin, the League Against Cancer Labin, as well as Mrs. Olgica Škopac, who already organized an action for the Ana Rukavina Foundation on October 20, 2007 at which 278 citizens joined the Registry.
Together with our organizers, we invite you to the action to join the Registry next Thursday so that you can increase the chances of treating all those patients who are waiting for their non-related donor. Come, maybe you are just that person!
