Pliva has donated 200,000 Kuna to kick off an action for the Ana Rukavina Foundation

There was a press conference today regarding the humanitarian concert that will be given by the Student Cultural and Artistic Association (SCAA) Ivan Goran Kovačić. The proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Ana Rukavina Foundation. Representatives from Pliva, the general sponsor of the concert, handed over a check to the Foundation for 200,000 Kuna.

The President of the Board of Pliva, Mr. Željko Čović has called upon all other Croatian companies to participate in the Foundation’s actions and in this way raise the necessary funds to tissue type blood samples from voluntary bone marrow and stem cell donors.

“It is a great honor that the Student Cultural and Artistic Association Ivan Goran Kovačić has decided to include the Ana Rukavina Foundation in their anniversary celebration. Owing to all the people who find joy in sharing their happy moments our world becomes a better place. The members of SCAA Ivan Goran Kovačić have realized that by giving to others they are truly becoming better and more satisfied people. A great thank you also goes out to Pliva for the great amount of money that they will donate as a result of this concert. They have given special encouragement to our mission, which is to improve conditions for the treatment of all the sick people that are suffering in our country,” said Marija Rukavina, the director of the Foundation.
The humanitarian concert by the Student Cultural and Artistic Association Ivan Goran Kovačić will be held in honor of the 60th anniversary of the association. It will take place on November 15th, at 8 PM at KD Vatroslav Lisinski. The featured guests will include Arsen Dedić, Josipa Lisac, Ivana Kindl and many others.
Tickets are available at the box office at KD Vatroslav Lisinski and cost 80, 100 and 120 Kuna.
