Dear friends, the next action to join the Registry of voluntary donors of hematopoietic stem cell donors will be held on Saturday, June 7th, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the premises of the City Administration of Velika Gorica (Trg Kralja Tomislava 34).
We will organize the action with the help and at the initiative of the Students’ Association of the City of Velika Gorica “VG Student”, that is, their president, Mario Dilberović.
All healthy people between the ages of 18 and 40 can join the Registry and by doing so can contribute to saving the lives of those who are suffering from acute and chronic forms of leukemia, as well as patients with severely damaged bone marrow. The process to join the Registry includes filling in an
application form and a medical questionnaire and giving a blood sample for HLA tissue typing which is the procedure for determining the tissue compatibility antigen.
