Dear friends, the next action to join the Registry of voluntary hematopoietic stem cell donors, which is also the 245th action in a row, will take place on Monday, May 12th in Požega at the City Library and Reading Room (Antuna Kanižlića 1) from 1 PM to 4 PM.
The action is being held at the initiative of Mrs. Irena Jurković from the City Library and Reading Room Požega. The action will also include the promotion of the book by Ankica Begić “Comanche Indian – My Blood Brother”, which you can download from our website, if you have not already done so.
For all of you who have not been able to attend our actions, and you are near the following cities, we would like to remind you that you can also join the Registry at the 8 transfusion centers.
Come, join the Registry and increase the chances of curing all those patients suffering from leukemia, lymphoma and other severe bone marrow damage. All healthy people between the ages of 18 and 40 can join the Registry by filling in an application form and a medical questionnaire and giving a blood sample for HLA tissue typing (the procedure for determining the tissue compatibility antigen).

P.S. The action to join the Registry which was scheduled to be held this Saturday, May 10th from 10 AM to 12 PM in Zagreb at the Bukovac Primary School, has been postponed until May 24th from 10 AM to 12 PM at the same location.
