Dear friends, today we attended two beautiful events in Zagreb.
In “Vatroslav Lisinski” concert hall, a concert called “”Together we are more beautiful, better, and stronger” was performed by a dance ensemble “Zagrepčanke i dečki” during which, for the first time, they performed a song called “The Day of Open Hearts”, which is dedicated to our Ana. You can listen to the song here.
The audience was greeted by our manager and Ana’s mother, Mrs. Marija Rukavina, in the presence of her granddaughter Ana who was named after her aunt Ana Rukavina. Mrs. Rukavina thanked professor Slavko Olujić and Mrs. Lana Marinović for a beautiful song and members of the dance ensemble for a wonderful performance.
During the concert, at the opposite end of town, other part of Foundation’s team responded to an invitation from “Fran Galović” elementary school in Dugave, to organize an action to join the Registry of Voluntary Donors of Hematopoietic Stem Cells during which 8 potential donors joined us.
We joined “Fran Galović” elementary school second year in a row for their third annual bike tour “Dugave pedal”, which is a final phase of “Fran’s bicycle” project in school year 2015./2016. and the last year of a 3-year project. The main goal of the bike tour was to warn about an insufficient infrastructure for safe participation in traffic of children and adults in Dugave.
We are glad we had the honor to join “Zagrepčanke i dečki” at the concert, and children from “Fran Galović” at the bike tour. We thank all of them from the bottom of our heart and look forward to future cooperations.
