Dear friends, on Monday, June 10th, we held a lecture to students of the 4th grade of the School for Nurses Vinogradska.
A lecture on the Croatian Bone Marrow Donors Registry was held by Dr. Ida Hude, a hematology resident at the Clinical Haematology Department of University Hospital Centre Zagreb, explaining the donation procedures and what it meant to be a potential bone marrow donor while colleagues from the Ana Rukavina Foundation held a lecture about the work of Ana Rukavina Foundation.
A big thank you to prof. Dubravka Protić who assisted in organizing lectures for the students and to School’s Principal, prof. Višnja Pranjić Ph.D., for hospitality. We hope that the students have heard useful information and that we have motivated them to join the Croatian Bone Marrow Donors Registry.
