For the first time ever, the Zagreb chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) gave out an award for the best project management and the best project results. The recognition for the best project in 2008 was awarded to the project for the Public Cord Blood Bank Ana Rukavina.

Mr. Fritz Frigan has sent us a letter explaining that his friends and colleagues from his company Halstead Property LLC in New York will make a donation to our Foundation in memory of his mother, Ljubica Broz, who passed on in March of this year.

Ana Rukavina Erceg’s birthday (March 28th) will be marked by a number of events this year:

Cinestar Zagreb was the venue of last night’s gala premiere of the documentary film “I want life” which depicts the development of the Ana Rukavina

The new additional postal stamps for the Foundation are available for sale as of March 10th until December 31st 2009.

On March 8th, International Women’s Day, for the third year in a row, the Women’s Forum of Kutina organized an action in order to raise money for tissue typing blood samples of potential bone marrow.
