The sales exhibition of works of art has been organized and opened by the Lions Club Zrinjevac at the Zagreb City Museum. The exhibit closes on May 11, 2008. The proceeds will go to the “Everything for Her” Society, an organization for women suffering from and treated for breast cancer.

On Saturday April 19th, on Ban Jelačić Square, as part of the event “Gorski Kotar u Metropoli” (Gorski Kotar in the Capital), Mrs. Božena Zakošek from the Goranin Society Zagreb and Mrs. Tina Fresl from Hrvatske Šume (Croatian Forestry) organized, for the second year in a row, the sale of decorative plants and fir seedlings. All the proceeds from the sales were donated to the Ana Rukavina Foundation.

In Hotel Solaris in Šibenik, the 1st International Congress of Nurses has begun under the organization of the Croatian Nurses Society of Anesthesia, Reanimation, Intensive Care and Transfusion.

The concert “For Ana’s Birthday” featuring Dražen Zečič will be held on March 27, 2008 at 8 PM in the Zrinjevac sports hall.

All the citizens who would like to contribute to the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation and participate in the humanitarian action “Kuna for a drop of life” can do so by calling 060 9005 (6.10 Kn per call, including VAT) and make a donation towards the cost of processing the collected blood samples.
