Dear friends, today marks International Childhood Cancer Day which aims to raise awareness of children suffering from malignant diseases and to express support to the children and adolescents and their families. The goal of this day is to increase acceptance and deepen understanding of the problems and challenges faced by the sick children and those who have managed to beat one of these dangerous diseases.

On Valentine’s Day, eight years ago, the Ana Rukavina Foundation officially started to operate. A little over eight years ago, one letter, and one simple, yet sincere and great desire – “I want life” – gave rise to an idea, a vision that the Foundation has followed for the last eight years.
