On Friday, December 16th, life will be celebrated on Ban Josip Jelačić Square. By organizing the sixth consecutive concert “I Want Life” the Ana Rukavina Foundation will once again thank all those citizens who have decided to make donations and thus selflessly help the Foundation’s mission – to save lives.

Under the auspices of the president of the Republic of Croatia, Ivo Josipović, and the prime minister of the Republic of Croatia, Jadranka Kosor, the awarding of the fifth Oscar of Humanity, “Touch of Kindness”, will take place on November 30th in the Grand Dalmatia Hall of the Hotel Le Meridien Lav.

The Ana Rukavina Foundation has been operating successfully for five years. The occasion was marked by a press conference which was held today to announce the sixth consecutive humanitarian concert “I Want Life” and cooperation with Nova TV.

Representatives of the youth association KUM from Proložac made a donation in the amount of 11,206 kuna to the Foundation’s managers!

Awareness about the current situation where our help is essential to the people who are waiting for bone marrow transplantations has prompted the V.B.Z. Publishing House to initiate this humanitarian action. The aim of this cooperation through joint events – book fairs by the publishers V.B.Z. and bookstores throughout Croatia, is to expand knowledge about the daily problems and needs of those people who are suffering from leukemia and other similar diseases.
