NVO Mala has organized the first action in our neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina to collect blood samples in order to form a Bone Marrow Registry. The action will take place today, August 14th from 5 PM to 10 PM in front of the Cathedral in Sarajevo
In October 2012, the Ana Rukavina Foundation and NVO Mala signed a business cooperation protocol and we are especially excited that after so much work and effort they have organized the first action to collect blood samples for their Registry.
Establishing the Registry in B&H is as important for B&H as it is for the entire region given that it is more likely that non-related hematopoietic stem cell donors will be found among the same ethnic group.
We share the joy of our friends from NVO Mala in Sarajevo, and we congratulate them on the first, of hopefully many actions that will be organized in B&H. If you are in B&H and have the opportunity, we invite you to join them today from 5 PM to 10 PM in front of the Cathedral in Sarajevo!
