Every time you purchase “Oglasnik”, 1 Kuna goes to the Ana Rukavina Foundation

Oglasnik has launched a nation-wide humanitarian campaign to raise funds for the Ana Rukavina Foundation. The campaign will take place between 1 and 30 November 2007. During that period of time, Oglasnik will donate 1 Kuna to the Foundation for every hard copy issue sold. As part of the campaign, Oglasnik will also organize a voluntary blood drive for its employees on the company’s premises.

The company believes that the campaign will raise a total of 200,000 Kuna. The funds will be used to process and tissue type the blood samples donated thus far. Special issues of Oglasnik, featuring the Ana Rukavina Foundation’s logo on its cover page, will be available at all newsstands as of November 2nd.

“It is our special pleasure to be able to help the Foundation with this action in raising the necessary funds and in organizing this blood drive for our employees. We hope that our initiative will reinforce the awareness of the importance of expanding the Registry of bone marrow and stem cell donors,” said Gordan Putanec, president of Oglasnik’s management board.
