The Ana Rukavina Foundation has launched the traditional humanitarian action I Want Life, which will last from December 1 to 31 and culminate on December 27 at the traditional Christmas concert I Want Life on Ban Josip Jelačić Square in Zagreb.
The primary goal is to raise funds for the professional training of medical specialists and residents in the field of hematology and related specializations to help those suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, and other hematological diseases. All citizens who wish to support this noble initiative can do so from December 1 to 31, 2024, by calling the donation number 060 9000, provided by Hrvatski Telekom. The cost of the call is 0.66 euros (+ VAT), and each call contributes to the hope for a better and healthier life for those who need help the most.
“Every year, November brings a kind of whirlwind of emotions, sadness over loss that never fades, but also gratitude for everything Ana left behind. When I look at how many lives have been touched and saved through the work of the Foundation, I feel deep gratitude to everyone who has joined our mission. I was not aware of how much goodness and nobility there is in people until I got involved in all this. Ana was not just my daughter, she is today a symbol of hope for many families who are fighting for the lives of their loved ones. Thank you for supporting us and for building a better future together with us. Your love and trust empower us to never give up,” said Marija Rukavina, Director of the Ana Rukavina Foundation.
In cooperation with Nova TV and the City of Zagreb, the traditional concert “I Want Life” will once again fill Ban Josip Jelačić Square with music and togetherness on Friday, December 27, starting at 8:20 PM. This special event is organized as a sign of gratitude to everyone who has supported the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation in any way during the year. The concert will feature well-known names from the Croatian music scene, bringing the warmth of the holiday spirit, moving performances, and a message of solidarity. In addition to brightening up the Christmas season, the concert reminds us of the importance of working together and helping those in need. The concert will be broadcast on Nova TV and Nova TV’s online platforms.
This year, all citizens will also be able to make payments via Erste Bank’s KEKS Pay application, which enables fast, simple, and secure payments without fees. The KEKS Pay application can be downloaded and used for free by all citizens, regardless of which bank they have an account with.
By scanning the QR code through the KEKS Pay application, you can quickly and easily donate; all you need to do is enter the desired amount you want to donate.
We thank you for every call and donation you make and look forward to your arrival!
