Valentine’s Day for the Foundation

For the 18th year in a row, the Hvar Red Cross City Society organized a traditional Valentine’s Day campaign for the Ana Rukavina Foundation on February 14th.
The campaign raised 1,005 euros, and a total of 1,330 euros was donated to the Foundation’s account. Also, in addition to the Hvar Red Cross’s payment, the Vanđela Božitković Kindergarten from Hvar paid 490 euros to the Ana Rukavina Foundation.
As every year, the following participated in the campaign:
DV Sardelice Stari Grad, OŠ Petar Hektorovića Stari Grad, OŠ Jelsa, OŠ Hvar, Učenička zadruga Faria, OŠ Hvar and SŠ Hvar.
The traditional Valentine’s Day campaign of the Hvar Red Cross is certainly one of the most special because they managed to include all ages in it so that everyone together supports the work of the Ana Rukavina Foundation, and thanks to the united hands of our dear Hvar residents, 187 people have been given a new chance at life to date!
Our dear Hvar residents: all employees of the Hvar Community Center, Dragica Visković, director of the Hvar Community Center, Maja Budrović, president of the Hvar Community Center, Dr. Esma Čečuk-Jeličić and Teo Jeličić, children, employees, parents of elementary and secondary school children and kindergartens, and everyone who has been participating in the action for years, thank you for all the years you have spent with us and helped us make Ana’s dream a reality!
